I think AI writing is a great tool that creates a tremendous amount of leverage and has the potential to revolutionize text-based content creation.
However, the current models aren’t good enough to work unsupervised. I would call these AI tools more AI writing assistants than independent AI writers.
AI writers are great at working with human writers on elements like article outlines and generating a first draft of an article. The human writer must check the article for accuracy to ensure correct content. The human writer uses the AI writer’s output as a springboard for the final article, where nuance and style can be added to the final piece.
